Teen, Love and Sexual Purity -
Human Sexuality is not an easily approached topic, many
young adolescents feel awkward when discussing it. For this reason their
knowledge may be limited in areas concerning sex. Therefore it is
imperative that growing teenagers are made known about important issues
implicating sex. For this purpose I initiated this program to inform
teenagers of all that they need to know about sex education.
Their peers, what they watch on television, and/or what
they see on the Internet are of the many factors that may lead to
misconceptions. These things are what can put a teenager on the wrong path
to an early pregnancy, a pre-mature sex life, and sexually transmitted
diseases. A teenager that is uneducated in this area may be susceptible to
all these things. At times it is the parent or guardian that is not taking
the time out to discuss this issue with their children, and therefore
indirectly sending their child to unreliable sources in order to gain some
knowledge. There should not be the rare, sit down and talk about sex
routine, it is something that should be discussed whenever the
issue arises, from childhood onward. It is not a matter that can be
addressed once, and then forgotten. The only way to end this cycle is
to educate teenagers about the hazards of having sex outside of marriage,
and to arm them with a feeling of assurance and
self-confidence through
counseling

This is why the Daniel Laurent Christian Ministries
Community Development Corporation has been dedicated to reaching out to
these teenagers before the world gets hold of their mind and begins to
control and dictate their actions. This Christian ministry is founded on
the basis that sex outside of marriage defeats the intended purpose of
sex, which is to be shared between two people who love each other. A
couple that is recognized as husband and wife in front of God and man.
Fornication is a sin in God's eyes. Such disobedience
has dire consequences. That is the reason why so many teenagers are
getting pregnant at an age where they should be concentrating on church,
school and family. Each year many people lose their life to sexually
transmitted diseases such as chlamidia, gonorrhea, Aids, PID and many
more. Some of these diseases have no cure. This is the reason why Daniel
Laurent Christian Ministries CDC is aimed at reaching these teenagers
before it is too late. Life is a precious gift from God, which we should
enjoy until he decides the time for us to no longer to exist. Fornication
can ruin that precious gift, that is why it is important for teenagers to
be educated, prayed with, and counseled about the dangers of fornication
and unbalanced life in general.
